Logo & Brand
for J&R Games
Create a brand and logo for an Online Video Game Store. The logo must be simple and represent video games in some way. The logo must also be able to be used in color and in black and white. J&R Games wants the brand to be focused around video games and the colour red. The logo is inspired by the Nintendo Logo and is created to be simple. Logo creation is not my strong suite and this project helped me learn more about the process of creating a logo and a brand to go with the logo.
Project Process:
I was contacted by a friend to create a brand and logo for they're new online video game store. I started with getting the information about the store, like the name and any ideas they had in mind. I then worked on some rough ideas with pencil and paper and showed them the rough work. They seemed to like two of my ideas and asked if I could create final versions of them both and they would pick which they liked best. I created both the digital versions with Adobe Illustrator and sent it to them for feedback. They picked one and I made sure to create the logo in all forms, long, icon, color, black and white and more.
