Promo Graphics
Create a template and final designs for Instagram graphics for announcements and promotions. These posts ranged from event announcements to promotions for general business. All were made for instagram dimensions but were also used for Twitter with the original specs. Working on this project allowed me to learn more about creating info graphic designs for social media. I was also able to learn a lot about working alone under time constraints. Working as a freelancer for GLG was a great experience early on in my career. This project was one of my last projects I did while I was working with them.
Project Process:
The project began with a request from my superior to create a template for future announcements and promotional graphics for social media. I was also sent what needed to be included in the graphics, for example, the heading title of the graphic and the date and time. I did some small rough brainstorming and sketches with paper. After that I started with Photoshop and through a back and forth with my employer I came to a final template and layout. Once the final template was made I used it when it was requested of me to create a promotional graphic for upcoming events. The template was created because my superior wanted everything to fit into the same style and theme.
